Classification: male solo singer, can be resident in a venue. Billed as themselves. Nominees are performing at the event for a live vote on the day. Last years winner: Michael Graham.

2. BEST FEMALE SINGER - WINNER: ELAINE ALEXANDER Sponsored by M.A. Logistics, where excellence comes as standard.

Classification: female solo singer, can be resident in a venue. Billed as themselves. Nominees are performing at the event for a live vote on the day. Last years winner: Karen Kennedy.

3. BEST TRIBUTE ACT- WINNER: PAUL LEE (MEATLOAF) Sponsored by Tenerife Sunshine, the travel company helping you enjoy more for less.

Classification: act of one or more members, billed as the tribute or them as the tribute. Last years winner: Paul Stone as Billy Idol.

Classification: more than two members with instruments. Can be resident in a venue. Last years winner: Kick.

5. BEST GROUP/DUO- WINNERS: THE WILD BOYZ Sponsored by Paul James and The Solutions Firm, Tenerife’s largest entertainment agency with solutions to your legal requirements.

Classification: two members with or without instruments can be resident in a venue. Last years winner: The Wild Boyz.

6. BEST COMPERE- WINNER: MIKE CARLTON (ST EUGENES) Sponsored by Rock Story, the ultimate tribute show.

Classification: one person who is resident in a bar, karaoke bar, cabaret bar or hotel, that hosts the evening with or without instruments. Last years winner: Mike Carlton from St Eugenes.

7. BEST VARIETY ACT- WINNER: JOHNNY CIRCUS Sponsored by Banco Halifax, we speak your language.

Classification: a variety show act such as dancers, drag artists, mime artists, hypnotist, magic show, comedian, etc. Last years winner: Bitter and Twisted.

Classification: any Tenerife based presenter on-air on a British station with studios based in tenerife. Last years winner: Joe Ferguson from Oasis Fm.

9. BEST CLUB DJ- WINNER: PAULA (LINEKERS) Sponsored by Special FX, professional sound and light specialists in Tenerife.

Classification: any Tenerife based DJ in a club or fun pub. Category is being decided by the reps of the major UK tour operators. Last years winner: N/A new category for 2010!

Classification: any new act for any category within the last 12 months. Last years winner: We Will Rock You.

Classification: Award presented to an artist or individual who has made a difference to the entertainment scene over and above their job or show. Last years winner: Crystal Starr.
